Telephone Maycee

Hello again!  It's Delightful Thursday at Digital Delights by Louby Loo.  I was asked to alter a composition book as a gift for someone, so I used this cute Telephone Maycee image.

I just love these Alphabet Soup papers with this digi.  I colored the image with my Copics, then I added some Prima flowers, plus one pretty pink flower from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The rhinestones and rhinestone swirl from my stash, and of course I had to add Stickles around the image.

Don't forget to head on over to the Digital Delights Blog to check out what my fellow DT members have to share with you today.  Then take a peek at Delightful Challenges to see what fun they have in store for you.

For my card I used one of the digis from this cute Elf Life set over at Digi My World.  My papers are MME and I colored him using Copics (B97, B95, B93, B91/E37, E35, E33/E11, E00, E000, R21/E55, E53, E51/B14, B12, B02, B000/G24, G20/Y28, Y21/W5, W2, W000/BG10).  I got the ribbon from my LCS and added a Christmas tree button and some twine.  The brown pearl adhesives are from my stash.

You have until Dec. 7th to show us your creations using Non-Traditional Holiday Colors.  One randomly chosen winner will receive the set of their choice from Digi My World, plus each entry goes into a monthly drawing for a $50 gift certificate to Oozak.com.  We sure to head over here to play along.

Tilda with Holly

Hi there!  I hope you all enjoyed the Thanksgiving holiday and maybe a couple of days off.  Today I've made an easel card using one of my Tilda stamps.  I'm not even sure if I've ever inked her up, but I did today.  Actually I colored her a few times, so you'll probably see her again soon.

I used a new toy that I picked up on Black Friday.  I got a Zutter Distrezz-it-All and I think I'm liking it!  It makes a good bit of noise (sounds like a power tool), but I love the look.  I typically stitch on my cards, but I don't think I need to with the distressing around the edges.

I got the DP on Black Friday as well.  It is Bo Bunny's Rejoice...LOVE it!  I colored little Tilda up with my Copics and added some Stickles to her dress and hair bows.  I got the twine at my LSS and the snowflake ornament, ribbon, jingle bells, Christmas tree button, and rhinestones are from my LCS.  The holly is from my MS punch.  The cute little tag sentiment is from Lili of the Valley and the Merry Christmas sentiment is from Magnolia.

Challenges:

Stamptacular Sunday - Recipe (ribbon, gems, punches)
Dutch Dare - Fancy Fold
Christmas Challenges - Sketch

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!  I hope you all are enjoying the day!  It's another Delightful Thursday at Digital Delights by Louby Loo.  My card this week features this cute Tangled Lights Reindeer digi.

I'm pretty sure this is what I will look like this weekend as we put up our Christmas decorations.  My DP is from the Paper Studio and I colored him with my Copics.  The ribbon is from my stash.  I unearthed some light bulb shaped rhinestones that I don't even recall buying, but I thought would look cute with this card.

Head on over to the Digital Delights Blog and see what my fellow DT member have created.  Then pop on over to Delightful Challenges and see what they have in store for you!

Bee Happy

Hi there and happy Tuesday to you all!  It's challenge time over at Can You Digi It?.  We want to see your Clean and Simple cards.  This is perfect timing too.  With Christmas right around the corner it's nice to have a card that you can just put in an envelope and drop in the mail with one stamp.

For my card I chose this cute Bee Happy stamp by LilyPink Designs.  I paired it with some papers from the Beach Fun paper pack.  I was really drawn to the colors, then it dawned on me that there were my high school colors.  Boy, THAT took me back.

Anywho, we'd love for you to join us.  Plus, you could be the winner of a $10 gift certificate to the CYDI? store.  Also, be sure to stop by the Can You Digi It? Blog to check out what my fellow DT members have to share.

Christmas Tags

Well, it's Thursday and you know what that means....it's Delightful Thursday over at Digital Delights by Louby Loo.  This time I decided to make a couple of Christmas tags using these cute Christmas Toppers digis.

On these tags I also used the Christmoose Wishes sentiment and the Be Naughty sentiment.  There are actually four toppers that come with the set.  I have used two of them, but stay tuned because I will definitely be making more of these.  These images are so quick to color and they make such cute tags.  The area between the image and the sentiment is probably where I will put the To: and From:.

I used my Copics to color both of them.  I added a button, and added some jingle bells with twine.  The tinsel ribbon came from my LCS.  Cute, right?

I'd love for you to head over to the Digital Delights Blog to see what my fellow DT members have made.  Then you can check out Delightful Challenges and see what's going on over there.

Challenges:

Crafts 4 Eternity - Terrific Tags

Go Team!

Hi there, and happy Wednesday to you!  It's time for another challenge over at the CMC Copic Challenge.  This time is All About Kids!

This is a composition book that I altered.  I didn't add a lot of extras because I knew it would be going in a backpack and I figured pretty much anything else would have fallen off.  The image is from Kenny K and I colored her with my Copics (B05, B02, B00/Y23, Y21/E11, E00, E000, R21/E25, E31, E50/C7, C5, C3, C1/E43).  The banner was cut using my Silhouette.  I haven't spent nearly enough time with that machine.  I'm hoping to spend a bunch of time during Thanksgiving getting more practice with it.

Our sponsor is Di's Digi Designs and a randomly chosen winner will get a $10 gift certificate to Di's Digi Designs.  Plus each entry goes into a monthly drawing for a $50 gift certificate to Oozak.com.  You have until November 23rd so there is plenty of time to show us your kid themed projects!

Purple Christmas Tilda

Hey, howdy, hey!  It's me again.  I've got another Tilda card to share with you today.  It's one of my favorite Christmas stamps.

I used this sketch from Sketch N Stash.

My papers are MME and I stitched all of the panels. I colored her with my Copics and added some lace from my LCS.  The pretty purple ribbon is some that I got from PrairieBird Boutique on Etsy.  The flowers are from WOC and I used my Marvy punch for the leaves.  The adhesive pearls, twine,  and the wooden snowflake are from my LCS.  The pin is handmade, by me.  I used some Star Dust Stickles on her clothes, but I have to tell you about what I used on the flowers.  I recently got some Ice Stickles as a gift.  Have you tried these?  They are awesome!  Chunks of glitter and so much more sparkly.

Totally PaperCrafts - Cute & Girly

Skating Tilda

Happy Monday!  Today I've got a card I made using a new Tilda stamp that I recently got for my birthday.  It's been a while since I've colored any of my Tilda stamps and I really enjoyed coloring this one.

I just love this pack of MME papers that I've used.  I used my Momento Tuxedo Black ink and stamped her onto some Cryogen White Cardstock.  I colored her with my Copics and added some Stickles to her hat, hair bows, and the snowflakes around her.  The ribbon, button, and charm are from my stash.  I made the pin  myself.  I love that you can use your Copics to color the pearl ends of the stick pins so they can match your work.  I used my Tim Holtz Antique Linen ink around the edge of my image and the sentiment.  The pretty swirls are from my Memory Box Frosty Border die.  I actually snipped it into a couple of pieces for this card.  The sentiment is from Magnolia as well and I used my Color Box stamp pad for that.

Just a reminder that there is still plenty of time to join in the challenge over at the CMC Copic Challenge.  The theme is Anything Goes with a Twist of Orange.  Perfect for this time of year.  There is a great prize up for grabs so be sure to check it out.

Challenges:

Marvelous Magnolia - Anything Goes
Crafts 4 Eternity - Supernova color inspiration
Stamptacular Sunday - Sketch
Really Reasonable Ribbon  - Winter Holiday & Ribbon

Peeking Ginger

Hi there, it's another Delightful Thursday at Digital Delights by Louby Loo.  Wendy's got another new release to share.  Today I am sharing Peeking Ginger Baby.

I wanted a flat card that could be easily mailed, so I didn't add any bells or whistles.  I printed this digi onto Cryogen White Cardstock and colored it with my Copics.  The DP is from MME and I ran the various panels through my sewing machine real quick.  I added a piece of ribbon from my stash and a bit of Stickles to the image.

Check out what my fellow DT member have made with these cute new images at the Digital Delights Blog, then hop on over to Delightful Challenges to see what they are doing.
